Day One

Arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport. For your first day in Bangkok, explore the Grand Palace, a sprawling complex of sparkling gold structures. Next, you’ll head to Wat Arun – the Temple of the Dawn – and Wat Po, home of the Reclining Buddha. The wonderfully fragrant and brightly-hued flower market is next on the itinerary, an amazing spot for photos.

Day Two

Escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok by taking a trip to Thailand’s ancient capital, Ayutthaya, just an hour’s drive from the city. The ancient ruins of the once thriving city are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and today, you’ll enjoy the thrilling experience of exploring them on the back of an elephant.

Day Three

Fly to Chiang Mai, the fresh, natural capital of the North, Chiang Mai. Start off your day with a visit to the Tiger Kingdom, where you can actually pet a fully-grown tiger and play with little tiger cubs. Next, you’ll visit Wat Umong, a 700-year-old Buddhist temple nestled into the bottom of Doi Suthep.

After this, you’ll get some real insight into the local industry with a visit to a textile workshop, followed by a visit to Chiang Mai’s famous night bazaar, full of handicrafts and stunning artwork.

Day Four

Today, you’ll drive to the heart of the Golden Triangle which connects Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar – Chiang Rai. Here, you’ll check out the Hall of Opium, which presents an intriguing look into opium production and its effects on the region.

Time to switch gears and learn the basics of mahout training, which involves being taught how to mount and dismount, ride, and wash an elephant. Finish your day off with a trek through the lush jungle.

Day Five

Today you’re going to do what proper beach travel is all about – relaxing. Fly to Phuket and check into your ultra-luxe beach resort. Chill out on the beach, sink into a plush poolside lounger with a good book, pamper yourself with a Thai massage: you are free to do as you wish.

Day Six

Take your own private speedboat to stunning Koh Phi Phi, two twin tropical islands that you may recognize from the movie, The Beach.  You’ll have the freedom to stop where you like, and enjoy some snorkelling, basic diving, and swimming in the stunning turquoise waters, as well as an intimate beach picnic.

Day Seven

You’ll embark on an epic ocean adventure, snorkeling/diving off the coasts of Thailand’s most picturesque dive spot, the Similan Islands. You’ll be living aboard your own private yacht, from which you can take a dip in the sparkling waters whenever you please. Stay overnight in your own cabin.

Day Eight

Continue exploring the Similan Islands from your private yacht, are an archipelago of 11 islands in the Andaman Sea. Dive/snorkel with whale sharks, manta rays, sea turtles and many more tropical fish in the pristine clean waters of Thailand’s national park.

Day Nine

Krabi will be your final destination, specifically the idyllic Phulay Bay. Check in to your luxury hotel, surrounded by lush jungle and breathtaking beach vistas.

Enjoy an intimate private dinner on the beach, where you’ll be served gourmet dishes under the twinkling stars.

Day Ten

On your final morning, you’ll explore Krabi’s stunning waters, weaving your way through its majestic limestone karsts on a kayak. This will give you the chance to observe stunning formations that have been thousands of years in the making, as well as lush mangroves and other such exotic vegetation.

Freshen up at your hotel before heading to Krabi International Airport for your flight home.

Our theory on Thailand

I love Thailand for its white sand beaches and its exotic limestone karst landscape. Thailand is an ideal place to charter your own yacht and explore the many small, secluded islands at your own pace. Looking for try something new? Phuket street food is world renowned.

CASEY

It is no wonder that Thailand’s beaches are amongst the most popular in the world. Powdery soft white sand, clear turquoise waters, warm tropical weather, swaying palm trees, famed local hospitality, and fresh seafood and plentiful coconuts.
