Arrive at Keflavík airport and check into your private luxury villa. After a light lunch, depart to Thingvellir National Park for a snorkeling/diving excursion in the Silfra fissure, a rift formed between the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia and home to some of the clearest waters in the world. Witness a mesmerizing underwater world with visibility up to 120 meters.
Return to your villa for the evening with dinner prepared by a private chef.
Experience Sólheimajökull Glacier with an unforgettable trek across it’s other-worldly surface. Stop for lunch afterward for a taste of local Icelandic food before heading back for an afternoon of relaxation at your private villa.
Later, visit the Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. Climb nearly 500 steps to reach the top of Skogafoss, affording expansive views of the south coast. Next see Seljalandsfoss waterfall, one of the most iconic landmarks in all of Iceland.
Spend the rest of the day at your luxury, boutique hotel that blends into the natural landscape with its black timber cladding and living roof. With suites decked out in sheepskin, Moroccan wools, and textured walls, it’s bedrooms are a cozy contrast to the raw landscape outside.
We recommend exploring the sauna or a relaxing massage in one of the property’s treatment rooms before dinner.
Spend a relaxing afternoon at your hotel. We recommend taking a dip in the geothermal indoor/outdoor pool, where you may be lucky to get a stunning glimpse of the Northern Lights.
After settling into your accommodations, enjoy time to rest for the remainder of the afternoon. Don’t miss dinner at your hotel, which offers captivating views across the volcanic horizon.
The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s most iconic attractions. This geothermal spa, located in a lava field on the Reykjanes Peninsula, is filled by volcanic aquifers 2000 meters within the Earth. The mineral-rich water is rich in silica, algae and mineral salt which is believed to stimulate circulation, while strengthening and moisturizing the skin.
In the afternoon, arrive at Keflavík airport for your flight home.
Our theory on Iceland
I love Iceland for its icy beauty. It is one of the most visually stunning landscapes on Earth with black sand beaches, basalt columns, glaciers and thundering waterfalls. Not to be missed are the Silfra fissure for a swim between tectonic plates and the iconic Blue Lagoon.
I love Iceland for its ultra-luxe spa experiences and thrill-seeking adventures. Don’t miss the immersive Ritual experience at the Sky Lagoon in Reykjavik. Explore the remote Troll Peninsula and reinvigorate with hiking, cycling and heli-skiing. Unplug, reconnect and thrive.
