Two Beach Clubs in Mexico to Visit for Your #bestbeachdayever

Private beach clubs are THE way to have your very #bestbeachdayever day in Mexico. Today we’re sharing details on two of our favs.

On the Mahahual Peninsula, in the southern part of Quintana Roo, lies Costa Maya. The small beach town is known for its white sand beaches and world-class snorkeling and diving thanks to its proximity to the Mesoamerican Reef System. Here you will find Hayhu Beach, a private beach club tucked away on the coastline. Hayhu Beach aims to offer you an exclusive experience, away from the noise and mass tourism of more traditional spots and they definitely deliver. We reserved the Ocean Front VIP Private Deck which had views for days, a private bathroom and shower, loungers, shade and a much-appreciated ocean breeze. There is so much to do here whether you want to relax or are ready for some sun and surf. They have snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boards and even kiteboarding lessons…when you ready to relax, Hayhu even has massage therapists on staff to rub your cares away. Hayhu has a full bar and their menu specializes in meats grilled in a South American-style…everything we tried on the menu was so good from the meats to the guacamole to the margaritas! And if you like to shop local, they also have a small shop on-site with handmade on-trend beachwear.

On the island of Cozumel, we highly recommend spending a day at The Cabana Beach. Reserve your very own cabana with a shaded living space, fans, loungers, wifi and you even get complementary house-made guacamole, chips and a fruit plate. The beach is pristine and there are plenty of spots to sun and take in the views around the property. The Cabana Beach is located inside Cozumel´s National Reef Marine Park and the ocean is exactly what you would expect…gorgeous green-blue, clear, and warm making for excellent swimming, snorkeling and even diving. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, they have a full menu of tasty options to choose from. We had the chicken tacos and mahi mingle ceviche which were both excellent. And for dessert, don’t miss their key lime pie! They have a full bar and can make any drink you want…my favorite was the Mojito Cabana.

Our rolodex is full of gems like these. Instead of spending hours researching, let us do the planning for you!
